I am presently single and I own my own home.
In 2008 my father unexpectantly passed away and that really put my family's lives into some turmoil for awhile. We all knew that my mom was incapable (because of age) of taking care of their house and the bills by herself.
So in mid 2009 I moved back into my parents house to help take care of my one remaining elderly parent. I now live here with my two cats, a dog, and of course my parent. I love my mom, but this was a very hard, but yet a very nessessary decision that I had to make.
At times, it has been some what difficult to adjust to this new situation. It is getting a little easier though as time passes. I remember it took me awhile to adjust living in my own home also.
MY JOBS..
I currently work full time as a lab tech in the food industry. It can be a very demanding job at times, and sometimes I work many hours. Business has been quite brisk this year so I have had a lot of overtime. With the economy the way it is, I have to be thankful that I am working. I have been doing quite a bit of remodeling on my parents house over the past few months also.
I also have done some private tutoring for people who want to learn more about computers. Though it has been quite awhile since I have done this.
EDUCATION..
I graduated High school back in the 1970's, and have since then taken some college courses along the way.
A few years ago I went back and took some more college courses. I was very happy with the computer courses I took and I did very well in them. One thing I did learn is it is not easy to work and go to school at the same time.
I am really hoping to go back and take some more classes some time. That will all depend on my time and my finances. I would be very interested in taking more computer classes and/or web page design. Maybe an art or photography class would be great also.
When I was in high school, I was an art and math major and also a yearbook editor. I have put some of my art work from back at that time here on my web pages. Being an assistant editor to the yearbook definately has helped me when planning my web site designs. Maybe I did learn something in high school after all?
Or should that be titled "lack of...?" Well that's what happens when you work a lot. As far as my social life is concerned, I mostly just like to hang around with my friends. There are many activities I like to do, so I rarely ever get bored. In fact I am one of those people who needs about 5 extra hours added to each day because there is too much to do.
I am not really into bars or clubs for that matter. Give me a night out at a friends house with a movie and conversation and I will be happy. Dinner and a movie or concert works also.

In the photos on the (left) are my cats Natalie (tiger), and Midnite.
Natalie is my 10+ year old cat that sort of adopted me into her life one night. I found her as a very young kitten one night when she insisted on following me around not to far from my home. I will admit I was not too crazy about cats until I got Natalie.
About a year and a half ago I was awakened one night by my drunk roomate who was outside talking to something just below my window. There was a small black kitten meowing loudly at him. To make a long story short the cat soon became part of my family. He was compelled to stay around my house anyways so why not?
